It connects but every 2 minutes it cuts out intermittently and it is very annoying. Connecting via bluetooth gives you the freedom to leave your mobile phone handset in a briefcase or a pocket while driving or parked.
Wondering if anyone else has had any problems with the bluetooth audio in the jaguar incontrol suite. Just glad to see they fixed that odd rear from the previous model. Some problems will only occur after many years of operation others are related to technical solutions and forced the manufacturer to issue a recall.
I did see someone say it had to do with bluetooth 5 0 not really sure what that is but shouldn t it be backward compatible i am on the very most. For added convenience and increased safety the bluetooth enabled telephone system can be controlled via voice activation and from the steering wheel or the touch screen of your jaguar. I went to the dealer in may and had all the latest upgrades installed.
If the problem is corrected in time it may not affect the overall. After two months of jaguar xe s ownership i ve already run into problems. Unfortunately nothing helped and the response of the service manager was to wait for the next jaguar update.
Hi there noob here just upgraded from my 15 year old s type to a xf 2016 what a beauty. Just checked on the jaguar connectivity website and it says the iphone 6s is compatible but clearly not completely so.
